Testimonials - Sabrina - 2018

My daughter was a student at this daycare, I could not have chosen a better clean & child friendly environment. Each day she shared all that she learned and she enjoyed seeing her friends. Most importantly she enjoyed spending the day with Aunty Madge & Papa. Let’s just say while at work I had a peace of mind because I knew she was in a safe environment!❤️

Testimonials - Emily + Joshua F. - 2022

We were new parents in the height of the COVID pandemic and concerned with finding the right care for our one-year-old son. We looked at several different options but were struggling to find the right fit. Immediately we visited Aunty Madge and Papa’s Daycare the warmth, dedication to their work, and deep care for the children was evident. The space was welcoming, clean, and bright and their bond with the children unique. Our son loved being with Aunty Madge and Papa and was excited to go to daycare daily. We felt comfortable going to work knowing our son was in a wonderful and safe environment. We also appreciated the time the children spent outdoors playing and the nutritious meals made daily for lunch. When we were moving, it was with deep sadness that we had to say goodbye to Aunty Madge and Papa as we felt part of their family. We highly recommend their daycare to parents looking for a family-oriented care experience for their child. Thank you, Aunty Madge and Papa for your care of our Son.

We first learned about Auntie Madge and Papa Childcare through close friends who had sent their twins to the daycare a few years prior. We were pregnant with our first child and was just starting the childcare search. Seven years and three children later, Madge and Calvin “Papa” have become like family and we couldn’t be any happier with the service and love they provided for our three children over the years--all starting at 3 months old and left at age 3 to begin preschool. When we began our research on daycare centers and homecare providers, we were immediately impressed with Auntie Madge's space and family-like environment on our tour. All spaces were clean, organized, and well maintained. Our daughters made friends with the other children as they grew, but most importantly, they learned colors, shapes, letters, numbers and had manners--saying “please, thank you, good morning, etc.” These were all things we valued and wanted to be an extension of our own home. Our girls also ate very well. Nursing our girls was very important to our family, so I sent breastmilk with each child and Auntie Madge respected our wishes while still managing all the different needs of the other children in her care. Once it was time for solid foods our girls enjoyed home cooked meals daily. There were many afternoons our girls would cry at pick up because they just didn’t want to leave, as if they would rather stay and not come home with us--we took that as a signal that our children were well taken care of and were happy with their time at the daycare. Finding this home childcare service was such a blessing. Our last child recently left this spring, 2020, and still wants to call and talk with Auntie and Papa because she misses them so much. As new parents back in 2012, we were nervous and hoped we would find the right “fit” and a safe and welcoming space--Auntie Madge and Papa Childcare checked all the boxes and more. We would wholeheartedly recommend this childcare provider!

Testimonials - Kayla + Mike - 2022

Our twins started going to Papa and Auntie Madge right after they turned 1 and it was their first daycare experience. We knew that we could trust them with our kids right away and felt very at ease sending them there. It didn’t take them long to adjust and they loved Papa immediately. Their daughter Karen was a great communicator and answered all questions that we had. Our son Cedric was a very sensitive kid and we felt that he became more flexible after being at their daycare and his speech skills improved. We only left because we moved out of Dorchester and miss them!
